PKN: Wednesday 2.9.11

In 1799, Eli Whitney was a founding member of the Connecticut Academy of Arts and Sciences. It was a forum for new ideas:  rich ideas that crossed disciplines and professions.

It’s still active.  The nation’s 3rd oldest learned society.

Pecha Kucha Night is a public forum for new ideas in a short form: art, design, entrepreneurial vision distilled into 20 slides, 20 seconds each: inspiration in 6 minutes 40 seconds. We believe fresh ideas are more important than ever.
