Alice Roche: Making Designs
This is Alice Roche, another former Museum apprentice. Alice received her masters degree in Architecture from the University of California Berkeley. Her thesis project was the design of an elementary school created to embrace a unique approach to learning. She designs and constructs jewelry (principally silver) which she sells through several stores throughout the country, including the Wave Gallery right in New Haven. Traces of the Museum still linger in the kinetics, scale, structure and patterns of her designs.
